Volunteer with Us

By collaborating with CEWEFIA, The Director of Kirc foundation Bernard Benyah has received foreign volunteers from USA and places the in vital places where their services are most needed. Volunteers have the opportunity to mix cement and sand using shovel. They also fetched some of the concrete for a contraction work here. The organization also had the opportunities to teaching in various schools. The felt the love and passion for the work. The volunteers together with Bernard Benyah and many other people went to Natrona where the disseminate HIV/AIDs information to the people in communities. With the assistance of a community health nurse they tested and counsel people on their HIV/AIDs Status. They show much care and love to PLHIV.

Volunteering is open to all individuals in any part of the world regardless of their race, religion, sex and status, and one does not require any specialized skills to volunteer in our programs since a wide range of services are provided by this organization. In other words, both experts and less experienced individuals can volunteer in our programs.

Volunteer Projects

Teaching: Volunteer as a teacher in local schools (Nursery, Primary, Junior High, Senior High) and teach subjects like English, Mathematics, Science, Computer Studies, and more.



Volunteering as a health professional or medical student, you can share your expertise and help train local staff, diagnose and treat patients, and provide health education in any of our local hospitals or health institutions. You can also help lead HIV/AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis campaigns, and provide health advice to the youth and students in our local schools.

Participate in projects promoting community development.


Teach in an orphanage, care for orphans, and provide material assistance like clothing, food, medicine, and books.


Contribute to community development, social welfare, and advocacy programs, including Human Rights Campaigns and advocating against Child Trafficking.

  1. Assistant Project Managers: Help manage projects and ensure successful implementation.
  2. ‎Computer Assistants: Provide technical support and assistance with computer-related tasks.
  3. Photographers: Capture moments and experiences from community development projects.
  4. Proposal Writing: Assist with writing proposals for funding and resource mobilization.
  5. Project Coordinators: Coordinate project activities, events, and logistics.
  6. Public Speakers: Share experiences and knowledge with communities, promoting awareness and education.
  7. Webmasters: Maintain and update the organization’s website.

Packing

You are not expected to bring anything with you, however, if you are considering bringing supplies for donation to some schools, there is a list below of items that would either aid with the day-to-day schooling or be great fun at playtime.
1 Books
2 Pens, pencils, erasers, pencils sharpener, chalk.
3 Arts and Crafts
4 Soccer balls, volley balls, skipping ropes, etc

Recommended items to bring:
– Mosquito net
– Bug spray (very hard to find here)
– Malaria pills
– Sheets and pillow case
– First aid medical kit
– Flashlight (very useful during frequent power outages)
– Sunscreen ( very hard to find here)
– Hand-sanitizer
– Towels
– Reusable water bottle
– Clothes : If you volunteer in the school, you have to dress appropriately; nothing too revealing. Males should wear long trousers and females should wear nothing shorter than knee length. A conservative outfit for church may be useful.
